ABOUT

The studio

JH Social Marketing is a boutique digital studio for interior designers, architects, builders, and luxury home brands who care as much about how their business shows up online as they do about the spaces they create.

We exist for the designer who wants her feed to feel as considered as her portfolio, and for the brand that knows great marketing isn't loud — it's intentional. Every strategy we shape is rooted in design, story, and the kind of growth that's sustainable instead of scattered.

Meet Jessica

JH Social Marketing was founded in 2023 by Jessica Herring — a marketer, small business owner, and lifelong creative who has been shaping brands and growing businesses since 2018.

A true Southerner at heart, Jessica grew up in Texas and North Carolina before putting down roots in Nashville in 2017, where she lives with her musician husband and their dog. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington — a foundation that quietly informs everything JHSM does. Marketing, at its best, is about people: what moves them, what holds their attention, what builds trust. That human-first lens is the throughline of every strategy we create.

Before launching JHSM, Jessica spent years building and marketing her own small businesses, learning firsthand what it takes to grow something from the ground up. That experience became the foundation of the studio: she built JHSM to be the kind of marketing partner she wished she'd had — small, hands-on, deeply attentive, and genuinely invested in the work.

Today, JH Social Marketing is based in Nashville, serving interior designers, architects, builders, and luxury home brands throughout the city — with a portfolio that has reached from the Southeast to New York.

  • Working with JH Social Marketing has been one of the best decisions we've made as a small business!

After a major brand overhaul, we wanted to be more active on Instagram specifically but knew that we didn't have the time or expertise to do it well. Jessica stepped in and immediately adopted our new branding language, listened to our goals, and has been consistently professional and an absolute pleasure to work with! I highly recommend working with JH Social Marketing.

  • We've been working with Jessica at our private social club in New York City for about 6 months now and I cannot speak highly enough of her work.

First, her content calendar and planner is impeccably organized and helps us stay organized and on-task. Second, she is a great thought partner when it comes to generating content ideas. Because she took the time to really understand our brand and the world around it, she suggests content that not only adequately speaks for our club, but actually elevates it. Third, Jessica is just wonderful to work with. She offers a lot of care and attention to her clients not often seen with remote contractors. Jessica has helped our club immensely and I cannot thank her enough!

  • Not only is Jess an amazing person inside and out, she is so talented in her profession.

She helped design my website for my newly developed interior design firm. I had a certain vision, but was unsure on how to implement it. She was able to make my vision become a reality. She was even flexible when I needed to change domain hosting sites. Jess was very accommodating to tweaks and changes I made. She's timely, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in the social media industry. I hope to hire her in the near future to manage my socials as well. I highly recommend JH Social Marketing!

  • Jess has not only made my life so much easier by managing and directing my social media platforms, but she also brings so much expertise and insight that makes the content and engagement thrive.

I love her process and how she makes it so easy to review and approve any suggested posts with her monthly planner. Not only is she great at her job, she’s just a wonderful human who makes the experience fun and enjoyable. I’d recommend her to anyone, but especially if you’re a small business feeling overwhelmed doing your social media by yourself and are ready to hand the baton to someone qualified and excellent in the media management field.

  • Jessica has done wonders for our social media strategy.

She is directly responsible for helping us to break records in customer engagement with a recent grand opening of our new location. She has a keen eye for style and helps to keep our brand on point. She is also incredibly pleasant to work with.

  • JH Social Marketing recently did a social media audit of our Instagram and Facebook and I highly recommend this service for small businesses with social media!

We got a lot of great insight into our accounts and some simple ways to improve our social media SEO, visibility and enhance the professional aesthetic. The review itself was really thorough and gave detailed breakdown of the recommendations and how to implement them. Thank you JH!

How we work

We work in retainers, projects, and strategic partnerships — never one-size-fits-all. Every engagement begins with brand listening: who you serve, how you sell, and the story your visuals are already telling. From there, we shape content, strategy, and reporting that move the needle without diluting the brand.

Clients work directly with Jessica and a tight team of vetted creative contractors. That means thoughtful communication, real strategic thinking, and a process that respects your time and your taste.

What we believe

1

Social media should feel like a creative outlet, not a chore.

2

Marketing should look like your brand, not the algorithm.

3

Your social presence should feel like the next page of your website, not a separate identity.

4

A thoughtful online presence isn't optional anymore, it's part of how modern brands are built.
